Meet Lisa Alpe
Lisa Andrews Alpe was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is a 1991 graduate of Deer Park High School and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. She graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1997 and went to work as an Assistant District Attorney for the Harris county District Attorney’s Office. After 11 years as a prosecutor for Harris County, Lisa opened a private law practice.
Lisa is a skilled courtroom trial attorney whose experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney has provided invaluable perspective into the criminal justice system. Lisa is able to think through issues from every angle and solve problems from every side. Her long legal career has prepared her to represent the beautifully diverse population in Spring Branch.
Lisa is also an active member of the Spring Branch ISD community - as a member of two PTAs and MHS Booster Club. After 5 years coaching youth sports teams in Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA), Lisa now enjoys watching games from the sidelines.
As a native Houstonian and 21 year resident in Spring Branch, Lisa takes great pride in the community spirit of success and progress found in this growing area of Houston.
Lisa has been married for 20 years to Bruce Alpe, who retired from the FBI in 2019 and is currently a Regional Vice President of Security for PNC Bank. They have three children who have all attended SBISD schools. Andrew graduated from Memorial High School (MHS) in 2020 and attends SMU in Dallas. Austin is a freshman at MHS and Alex is in 8th grade at Spring Branch Middle School.
